**How you’ll contribute **

An **Assessment Specialist RN** who excels in this role:

- Is responsible for supporting the needs of the department with a focus on clinical, operational, and administrative excellence.

**What we’re looking for ** Applicants should be a graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing or relevant state licensure required. Additional requirements include:

- Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis and psychiatric patients preferred.
- Experience in psychiatric emergency department, crisis care, patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning an communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
- Current, unencumbered license to practice by the state board of nursing
- CPR and De-escalation certification required or obtain within 30 days of hire.
