**How you'll contribute**

A **Certified Medical Assistant ** who excels in this role:

- Provides basic patient care activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Monitors and records vital signs, intake and output, and reports changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, and ambulation.
- Observes and promptly reports abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings.
- Maintains patient rooms and common areas to ensure a clean, safe, and organized care environment.
- Supports nursing and physician staff with patient care activities and unit workflow.
- Manages tech desk operations and assists with maintaining efficient department throughput.
- Documents patient care and activities in accordance with hospital and unit standards.
- Participates in required education, competency validation, and performance improvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**What we're looking for**

- **Education** High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- **Licensure** National Certification of Certified Medical Association
- **Certifications** AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Handle with Care certification preferred.
