**How you'll contribute**

A** ****Certified Surgical Tech, First Assist **who excels in this role:

- Assist the surgeon during procedures by providing exposure, handling tissue, suturing, and controlling bleeding
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring all instruments and supplies are ready and properly handled
- Anticipate the surgeon’s needs and pass instruments and materials efficiently during procedures
- Perform preoperative and postoperative duties, including patient positioning, skin preparation, and wound dressing
- Ensure compliance with surgical protocols, aseptic techniques, and patient safety standards

**What we're looking for**

Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and Graduate of an Accredited program for Surgical Scub Technicians. Additional requirements include:

- Certified Surgical First Assist certification required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC) required within 7 days of hire

**Experience**

- One or more years of experience as a Surgical Scrub Technician with CSFA certification required
- Specific knowledge of surgical procedures required
- Extensive communication skills, team building skills, surgical assisting and instrumentation skills required
