**New Graduate Registered Nurse (ADN/BSN)**

**Full-time, Day and Night Shifts Available**

Who is Considered a New Graduate RN?

A *New Graduate RN* is defined as a Registered Nurse who has graduated from an accredited nursing program within the past 12 months and has not yet worked in a Registered Nurse role.

**Base Rate: $32.82/hour **

Job Description: ** **

- The Registered Nurse (RN) implements professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness.
- The Registered Nurse (RN) is an exemplary for compassion, acceptance, respect, and empathy honoring nursing as a distinct discipline and supporting an environment focused on healing and wellness.
- As a clinical nurse, this individual spends majority of his/her time (> 50%) coordinating, ensuring and providing direct patient care activities on the unit through: provision of nursing rounds, assessments and treatments; facilitating admission, transfer and discharge activities; provision of patient and family-centered education; care coordination and individualized treatment planning as applicable, etc.

** **Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:** **

- Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
- Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
- *Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor’s degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years. *
