**MRI Tech - MRI**

**PRN - Varied shift/schedule**

**Job Description:**

- Operates MRI equipment to produce images for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the Radiologists and performs diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
- Under the broad direction of the Radiologist, the MR technologist performs scans of selected portions of the anatomy as requested by the physician.

**Requirements:**

- Associate's degree from an institution accredited by an agency that the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) recognizes, or military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program required, or higher.
- Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT required.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy preferred.
- Two years of experience working as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or medical imagining facility preferred.
- BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire
