**About us**

Highpoint Health – Trousdale with Ascension Saint Thomas, formerly Trousdale Medical Center, is a 25-bed critical access hospital offering an extensive range of in-patient, outpatient and emergency services for adults and children. Critical access hospital simply means that the hospital is critical in providing healthcare to our community.

**How you'll contribute**

As a **Patient Care Technician** joining our team, you're embracing a vital mission dedicated to *making communities healthier*. This includes:

- Assisting patients with performing activities of daily living
- Providing or assisting with providing direct patient care
- Observing and recording patient behavior and activities
- Reporting any changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff and suggesting modifications to treatment plans
- Assisting with POC testing and EKGs as needed

**Qualifications**

- High School Diploma or equivalent *required*
- State of TN CNA license *preferred, *can be considered without high school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS)* required* within 30 days of hire
- 1 year certified nurse tech or EMT experience *preferred*
