**How you’ll contribute **

An Advanced Pharmacy Technician excels in this role:

- Performs dispensing and billing functions in appropriate dispensing program
- Delivers patient- specific and floor stock medications accurately to patient care areas per department practices
- Assists the pharmacist in medication compounding
- Obtains accurate and timely medication history for each patient as directed
- Demonstrates awareness of differing physiologic requirements of patient age groups when performing tasks.
- Completes medication storage checks and narcotic inventory reconciliation as directed
- Participates and attends meetings as required or assigned
- Performs general clerical duties, such as answering phones, filing requisitions, etc. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

**What we’re looking for **

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Michigan Pharmacy Technician License (NOT temporary or limited)
- 1-year related experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of Medical/ Nursing Terminology. Familiar with aseptic technique
