**How you’ll contribute **

A Radiology Technician** **who excels in this role:

- Reviews patient history and physician’s orders. Educates patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
- Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice as ordered. Monitors patient condition and responds to changes as appropriate.
- Prepares equipment and supplies, selects exposure factors and imaging parameters, and ensures compliance with safety standards.
- Performs quality control checks on equipment; troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports malfunctions as necessary.
- Positions patients and performs imaging procedures. Analyzes results, identifies quality issues, and takes corrective action including repositioning or repeating procedures.

**What we’re looking for ** Applicants should have an associate’s degree. Additional requirements include:

- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiology or registry eligible (must take registry within 6 months of hire).
- BCLS
