As a Level I Maternal Care and Nursery facility, we provide personalized, family-centered care close to home. **How you'll contribute**

An **OB RN Director **who excels in this role:

- Provides and coordinates care of the OB patient using nursing process.
- Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of clinical services.
- Performs performance improvement studies and assists with implementation of PI initiatives.
- Serves as a resource to staff and external contacts on issues related to patient care, patient flow and clinical standards, policies and procedures.
- Monitors departmental compliance with applicable requirements, including accreditation, legal, and The Joint Commission.
- Coordinates staff scheduling, educational/development activities, and performance evaluations.
- Provides and coordinates patient educational needs, specifically to Labor and Delivery.
- Performs other job duties as assigned

**What we're looking for**

Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor’s preferred).

Additional requirements include:

- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
- 4-years Labor and Delivery experience (preferred)
- 2-years leadership experience in healthcare (preferred)
- NRP, AWHONN-EFM, AWHONN-POEP, STABLE (current or within 1 year)
- Annual influenza vaccination or declination required
