**How you’ll contribute **

An **Assessment Supervisor** who excels in this role:

- Facilitates response to request for services, including the initial response, the assessment and referral process, the designation of appropriate level of care, admission into services and appropriate follow up activity
- Conducts initial evaluation, initiates the assessment, documenting patient symptomology, functioning, needs and provides information to MD for LOC determination
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills in assisting patients, physicians, visitors and coworkers in a prompt and courteous manner
- Possess clear knowledge of Emergency Detention paperwork and processes and EMTALA
- Maintains all pre-admission and admission paperwork with accuracy, completes all per-certification with insurance companies
- Ensures appropriate staffing for shift
- Minimizes use of overtime
- Assists in monitoring attendance
- Educates and coaches staff and acts as a point person for clinical decisions
- Reports all issues and incidents to the Director of appropriately
- Ensure staff has completed all needed documentation, call logging, insurance calls, and additional tasks prior to the end of shift

**What we’re looking for **

- **Education**: Associate's Degree in Nursing Required or Master's degree in Social Work/Counseling required.
- **License**: Current unencumbered clinical, social work, or RN license
- **Additional Requirements**: CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days.
