TRIA is looking to hire a Surgical Technologist to join our surgery center team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

**Position Summary:**

The Surgical Technologist practices under the direction of a Registered Nurse in an autonomous and collegial manner, integrating, critical thinking skills, commitment, creativity and caring.

**Work Schedule:**

casual position - M-F days, rotating start times from 6a-9a

**Required Qualifications:**

- Must be certified through one of the following Surgical Technologist Programs: CST ([https://nbstsa.org/examinations-cst.html](https://nbstsa.org/examinations-cst.html)) or NCCT ([https://www.ncctinc.com/General/VerifyCertification.aspx](https://www.ncctinc.com/General/VerifyCertification.aspx)) at time of hire or obtain the certification within 12 months of hire.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Currently validated CPR skills preferred
- Practical knowledge of basic surgical instrumentation and equipment of orthopedic surgical procedures.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of aseptic technique and sterilization methods.
- Demonstrated knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
