Yes, but the list is short. Remote healthcare hiring is a thin slice of the market, and most of what's there wants a license. Right now 98 of the active US openings we track are remote, and most of those are nursing, therapy, and physician roles that need a credential.

That leaves a smaller set of entry-level remote jobs with no clinical license required: work-from-home pharmacy technician roles, care coordination and case management support, insurance and pharmacy back-office work, and some community health worker positions. The entry-level remote roles that actually hire

Four kinds of remote healthcare jobs regularly hire people with no experience and no clinical license.

Work-from-home pharmacy technician

Pharmacy technicians increasingly work from home for insurance companies and mail-order pharmacies, handling prior authorizations, prescription questions, and claims by phone instead of at a counter. In our listings these show up as titles like "Pharmacy Care Technician, Work From Home," posted across states like Tennessee, Arizona, New Jersey, and Texas. The few that post pay land around $17 to $28 an hour (MedJobList, July 2026); with only a handful posting a figure, treat that as a rough band. Care coordination and case management support

Care coordinators and case management support staff keep patients on track: booking follow-ups, checking in after discharge, and connecting people to benefits and services. In our remote listings these show up with titles like Care Management Coordinator, Patient Care Coordinator, Case Management Specialist, and Care Navigator. Most ask for customer-service or healthcare-office experience rather than a clinical license. Pay isn't posted often; where it is, it sits in the high teens to low $30s an hour (MedJobList, July 2026).

Insurance and pharmacy back office

Health plans and pharmacies hire remote staff for the paperwork behind care: prior authorization requests and inbound and outbound calls. Our listings include titles like "Prior Authorization Representative, Work From Home" and remote call-center roles. These lean on phone and computer skills, and retail or call-center experience carries over directly. They rarely post pay, and a college degree is rarely part of the ask.

Community health worker

Community health workers connect people to care, benefits, and follow-up appointments, and a few of these roles run remotely by phone and video. As of July 2026, none of our community health worker listings marked a certification as required, which makes this one of the few remote roles you can start with no credential at all. Most remote healthcare jobs need a license

Most remote healthcare openings go to licensed clinicians working by phone or video. Telehealth is mostly staffed by nurses, nurse practitioners, therapists, and physicians, and they make up the majority of remote healthcare listings on our board (July 2026). They pay more than the entry-level roles above, and they need a license you can't earn in a few weeks.

Why "remote" rarely means "anywhere"

Most remote healthcare jobs are open only to people who live in a specific state. Licensing drives it: a nurse or therapist has to hold a license in the state where the patient sits, and even non-clinical roles get restricted this way.

The work-from-home pharmacy technician posts we track are each tied to a single state. One care management role required living in Ohio; a field case management job was limited to Illinois. What about medical scribing?

Remote medical scribing is a real job, but our board doesn't list any right now. Companies like ScribeAmerica and Augmedix hire virtual scribes to document visits over live audio or video, and it's often named as an entry-level remote healthcare job.
