When does a New York nurse practitioner stop needing a practice agreement?

Education Law 6902 says a nurse practitioner practicing for more than three thousand six hundred hours shall not be required to comply with the requirements of paragraph (a), relating to collaboration with a physician, a written practice agreement and written practice protocols. Hours are the whole test. The text in force runs until July 1, 2030, and the version that replaces it on that date will ask practitioners past the threshold for an attestation about their collaborative relationships.
