Job description
Responsible for assisting physicians to perform invasive cardiology and radiology procedures; scrubbing and maintaining sterile field; monitoring and documenting procedures in interventional procedural lab
Responsible for hemodynamic monitoring and EKG interpretation, documentation during interventional procedures Performs post procedure care and vascular access site management including arterial and venous sheath removal and closure device utilization Operates, troubleshoots, maintains and performs quality control on all equipment used in lab, including imaging systems/fluoroscopy Maintains supply inventory. Other duties as assigned and vary within Atlantic Health site specific
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of radiology technology One year of Interventional radiology/cath lab experience preferred Recent hospital experience as a radiology technologist required
American Heart Association Healthcare Provider C PR (BLS) required. AC LS within 3 mos of hire * Licenses: Current AART Radiology Technology Licensure Required * Registrations: Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification (RCIS) preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster a positive work environment; heavy focus on patient safety and experience; able to deliver high quality evidence-based care resulting in good patient outcomes Ability to work in a fast paced, critical care environment
