Medical Assistant. On-site, Indiana

Baptist Health is hiring a Medical Assistant in Indiana. The job is full-time at a clinic. The job is in Primary Care. The schedule is First Shift.

What you'll do

• Obtain vital signs and patient history
• Document patient information in EPIC
• Prepare patients for examinations
• Perform EKGs phlebotomy and injections
• Process prescription refills and prior authorizations

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One year of direct patient care experience
• Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program
• Complete clinical competency assessment
• Basic computer skills
• Current Medical Assistant certification (preferred)
• Graduate of LPN or RN program (preferred)
• Experience with electronic medical record systems (preferred)
