Team Impact
As an Intensive Care/Progressive Care Unit (ICU/PCU) PCA, you'll provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients requiring advanced monitoring, complex interventions, and life-sustaining therapies. Working in a collaborative critical care environment with a 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, you'll partner closely with the RNs to deliver evidence-based care during some of each patient's most critical moments. This role is ideal for candidates with healthcare experience who enjoy acute care and are eager to expand their clinical knowledge while making a meaningful impact.

How You Will Fulfill Your Potential (Responsibilities)
- Perform all aspects of first-level patient care including promoting hygiene and mobility
- Measure and record patients’ vitals such as temperature and blood pressure
- Responds to patient/family needs and requests
- May assist and support physicians/nurses during routine procedures and treatments
- Report all observations, changes in patient condition to responsible RN for timely, appropriate evaluation and response
- Prepare hospital rooms
- Change patients’ bed sheets, pillows and turning or repositioning patients in their beds
- Deliver meals to patients and assist with feeding
- Help patients dress and/or assist with toileting needs
- Bathe patients
- Listen to patients’ concerns, record them and report them to a nurse
- Patient companion when needed
What You Bring (Qualifications)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for caring and supporting others
- Patient care experience (preferred, not required)
- Medical terminology knowledge (a helpful plus)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (can be earned after hire)
