What you'll do

• Review prior authorization requests
• Render coverage determinations
• Communicate decisions to healthcare providers
• Handle inbound and outbound calls
• Maintain drug and disease state knowledge

Requirements

• Two years PBM pharmacist experience
• Experience with commercial prior authorizations
• Proficiency with clinical resources
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to work independently
• PGY1 or PGY2 residency (preferred)
• Prior authorization call center experience (preferred)
• Clinical and analytical problem solving (preferred)
