Pharmacy Intern. On-site, California

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Intern in California. The job is part-time at a retail location. Pay runs from $23 to $28 per hour. The schedule is nights and weekends.

What you'll do

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately
• Provide patient counseling and education
• Manage pharmacy inventory and stock
• Administer vaccines under pharmacist supervision
• Communicate with prescribers regarding medication orders

Requirements

• Enrolled in ACPE accredited pharmacy school
• Lift up to 20 lbs
• Maintain standing for extended periods
• Use mathematical reasoning for prescription dispensing
• Work nights and weekends
• One year of pharmacy or retail experience (preferred)
• Immunization certification (preferred)
• Microsoft Suite proficiency (preferred)
