Pharmacy Intern. On-site, Mississippi

CVS Health is hiring a Pharmacy Intern in Mississippi. The job is part-time at a retail location. Pay runs from $20.00 to $23.75 per hour. The schedule is nights and weekends.

What you'll do

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately
• Offer patient counseling and medical information
• Process telephonic prescriptions and prescriber calls
• Perform inventory management and cycle counts
• Administer immunizations and point-of-care testing

Requirements

• Enrolled in ACPE accredited pharmacy school
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Proficiency in pharmacy workflow procedures
• Regular and predictable attendance
• One year of related work experience (preferred)
• Immunization certification (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (preferred)
