Veterinary Technician. On-site, Texas

AmeriVet Veterinary Partners is hiring a Veterinary Technician in Texas. The job is full-time at a clinic. The schedule is rotating Saturdays and Sunday on-call duties.

What you'll do

• Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
• Prepare patients for surgical operations
• Assist with patient recovery after surgery
• Provide nursing care for various species
• Handle and restrain animals safely

Requirements

• Three years of veterinary technician experience
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and restrain animals
• Comfortable with urgent and emergency cases
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in mixed-animal or exotic practice (preferred)
• Strong surgical experience (preferred)
