The Mental Health Therapist works under the supervision of the Practice Manager to provide clinical assessment, referral and/or counseling for mental health problems.
Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, counseling, and follow-up to clients. Maintains and interprets documentation of clinical work and other statistically relevant data; meeting quality assurance standards.
- Provides assessment, counseling and/or referral services to patients at Mosaic Outpatient Behavioral Health or Mosaic Counseling Care.
- Provide computerized/written reports and/or clinical documentation for legal purposes and administrative accountability.
- Attend relevant and required meetings to provide consultation and gain needed information relevant to work.
- Available for clients in emergency situations.
- Complete clinical notes in a timely manner and paperwork necessary for insurance filing.
- Maintain broad expertise in clinical areas and certifications or relevant credentialing.

Education- Master's Degree - Counseling or social work - Required
Work Experience- 3 Years - Clinical experience - Preferred
Licenses and Certifications- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Required Upon Hire Or
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) - Required Upon Hire
- C.E.A.P./A.A.M.F.T. certified - Preferred Upon Hire
