Occupational Therapist I: Part-Time, Variable Days M-F; Atlantic Rehab Newton

Atlantic Health  is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join the energetic and innovative team of healthcare professionals in their Atlantic Rehabilitation Division in Newton Medical Center 175 High Street, Newton as a Part Time Occupational Therapist. This position will focus on working with neurological and orthopedic populations. This position sits amongst a collaborative multidisciplinary team who work cohesively together to meet patient goals.

Essential job functions required.

Provide occupational therapy evaluations with adults who may have varied neurological and orthopedic diagnosis.

Job responsibilities include:

• Perform comprehensive evaluations.  

• Design and implement OT treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Communicate with entire patient care team.
• Provide patient/family/caregiver education as indicated. 
• Perform all electronic documentation and billing per departmental guidelines  

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Graduate of an accredited OT program

Preferred experience:

• Hands on experience working with neuro and ortho diagnosis in an outpatient setting. 
• Experience is preferred; however, new grads are welcome to apply. 

Required License/Certifications:

• Current active Occupational Therapy license in the state of NJ
