Position Purpose:

| The incumbent shall be responsible for providing a full range of Physical Therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position’s qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. With each patient encounter, the incumbent shall use AIDET, perform hand hygiene, assists with positioning patient for comfort and pain management, and performs environment check prior to leaving patient’s room and/or maintains a clean and organized environment. |
Key Responsibilities
· Evaluate patient response to treatment and modify plan as necessary
· Documentation is complete and accurate, meeting all KHI, Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy, and Medicare regulatory requirements. · Billing is completed by the end of each shift, accurate, meets reasonable and necessary requirements, and is justified in the documentation. · Individual productivity meets department standards. · Patient satisfaction will meet or exceed department standards. |
Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an APTA approved four year bachelor’s degree program, or foreign equivalent. Licensure: Current PT License through the AZ Board of Physical Therapy Certification: BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Experience: Recent experience working with an adult and geriatric population |
Preferences
| Education/experience serving people with physical disabilities is desirable. |

Exposure Categories: Category II: Expected duties have possible, but not routine, potential for exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues. |
Work Requirements
| The Incumbent shall have the ability to lift and transfer patients and equipment, have the ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, crouch, and communicate to provide therapeutic interventions. |
