How you’ll contribute 

A Pharmacy Technician who excels in this role:

  • Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.

  • Fills medication carts on a daily basis.

  • Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.

  • Repackages bulk medications

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

What we’re looking for Applicants should have an high school diploma or equivalent (required).  Additional requirements include:

  • Registered with the Texas Board of Pharmacy in good standing and PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Pharmacy Intern.

  • CPR and De-escalation certification required or obtain within 30 days of hire.

  • Previous experience in a hospital pharmacy preferred
