Facility Name: Frye Regional Medical Center

Position: Phlebotomist 

schedule: Full Time Days

Shift: 8-hour shifts typically 8am -5pm

Essential Functions:

  • Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.

  • Collects and processes blood specimens for testing in the laboratory 

  • Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.

  •  Maintains equipment and medical supplies.

  •  Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.

Education/Certification:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred

  •  An approved nationally accredited training course in Phlebotomy 

  •  ASCP or NHA Preferred Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days of hire
