How you’ll contribute 

A Medical Technologist who excels in this role:

  • Verifies patient and specimen identification before performing any procedure.
  • Performs common testing procedures and assesses and reports test results.
  • Performs test result calculations as necessary.
  • Performs and reports waived to highly complex laboratory tests on patients by departmental policies and procedures.
  • Recognizes abnormal, unusual, or unexpected test results through correlation of data with common physiological conditions/age of the patient.

What we’re looking for  Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree or MT degree. Additional requirements include:

  • License: Certifications: Medical Technologist licensure through ASCP or AMT preferred (licensure must reflect education requirements).
  • One (1) year of experience in a medical laboratory preferred
