How you’ll contribute
A Physical Therapist Assistant who excels in this role:
Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain physical mobility/function.

What we’re looking for
Education: Associate’s degree Required; Graduate of a Program in Discipline Required Licenses: Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of KY Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Essential Functions:
- Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities. Seeks consultation as necessary.
- Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan. Regularly communicates patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.
- Documents services provided and patient response/progress.
- Educates the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
- Assists with patient discharge planning. Provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and community support program
